The family that you have now become part of, is the Church of God.

The Church is not a building, but a community of people that congregate around the person of Christ. One of the ways we do this is to gather in small groups or communities of people, who are committed to Jesus, the Great Commission and each other. These small groups or care groups gather weekly as the church and connect with people who don't know Jesus throughout the week at work, socially, at school, etc.

Just like having an extended family

Community Care Groups provide acceptance, relationship, support, accountability and discipleship.

Find people who gather near you.

On the map below you will be able to connect with a community care group near you. Select a marker in or near your area and you will be shown the group leader and their contact details. Alternatively you can contact the church office.

The early church existed in groups...

...and so do we! The scriptures are shared on a weekly basis in our celebrations, after which the groups meet during the week, to discuss how they can be practically applied in their lives. and Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier, and the church in your house: Philemon 1:2

Building one another up...

As followers of Jesus we are called to build each other up, so that each one of us matures and becomes more Christ like. God's design for us, His church, is that we are all members together of the body of Christ, and NOT alone!

When we live like this, in community, always looking out for the interests of others, we help one another to overcome the circumstances of life and mature to help others.

You are very important in this process because you have a specific function to fulfill in the body. God wants to use you in the building up of others in His body.

You need to be part of a CCG group so that you can do your part in the Body and thereby find and fulfil your purpose and destiny in God's Kingdom.

Be committed...

The group will challenge and encourage your level of growth and commitment. In the CCG you will discover your ministry and gifting. Your participation will help build up the rest of the group. Make a decision not to allow anyone or anything to hinder you from attending your CCG.

The Holy Spirit will give you spiritual gifts to help you minister to the rest of the group...

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:7-12

You can also help the people within the group by doing practical things for them and using your talents or abilities to help them.

Valuable relationships...

Sharing Christ...

In community our mission is sharing Christ with family, work mates and friends. This can occur by simply inviting someone to join the group, or by getting the group together to visit or pray for your unsaved friends.
