Kids Rock

This is where children take first steps in their Christian walk. From developing the relationship with Jesus to finding their place in the body of Christ, we endeavor to teach them how to build solid, biblical foundations in their lives. Our hope and aim is that our children will discover that God wants to use them now, as children, to impact their world.

The program is full and consists of praise & worship, teaching, activities, outreaches, community projects, etc. We also take up offerings to teach our children to be generous.

We desire to see a generation of young people that are committed to Christ and obediently following Him. Our aim is to be relevant and relational as we guide young people to live their lives in surrender to Christ.

We believe in living a life of surrender that they will be full of the Spirit of God and kingdom minded, will mature in their walk, and influence those in their relational circles.

The program consists of community care groups (during the week), a youth program (Friday evenings), camps and events.

We are women from all walks of life and age groups that gather to fellowship and disciple each other. We come together every first and third Saturday of the month to share the word, pray, fellowship and grow. You can get involved by joining in one of the following areas.

Our slogan: "One to another" is taken from 1 Peter 4:10 - "As each has received a gift, minister to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

What we would like to see is: God fearing men of all nations uncompromisingly upholding Godly lifestyles as a result of God's influence. So we aim to equip and empower these men to encounter God and live this out in their families, churches and greater communities!

Couples ministry is driven by the conviction that marriage and family is the bedrock of a healthy church community and is essential in the promoting a godly and prosperous society. In other words, if we want to see healthy communities and a healthy society, we need to focus on producing whole marriages and families.

Our vision is to equip married couples and individuals to reflect God's design and glorify God in their marriages and families. This is carried out through seminars, workshops, camps, courses, socials, etc. Along with these events, we invite people with expertise in the area of marriage and family, to address the couples and interact with them.

Community Care Groups... once a week in addition to Sundays.

The family that you have now become part of, is the Church of God. The Church is not a building but a community of people that congregate in buildings and homes. One of the functions of the Church is to gather in small groups called Community Care Groups or Cells.

These are small groups or communities of people, who are committed to Jesus, the Great Commission and each other. These CCGs or communities gather weekly as the church and connect with people who don't know Jesus throughout the week at work, socially, at school, etc. Just like having an extended family CCGs provide acceptance, relationship, support, accountability and discipleship.

Light of Hope

Light of Hope NPO practically ‘demonstrates Kingdom living’ through its various social outreach programmes which aim to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and children who are infected or affected by HIV / AIDS, TB and other associated diseases.

We operate mainly on Duncan Village, a local township, through the provision of home based care, educare, an after school kids club and crisis relief activities. We are particularly seeking to help children grow into mature, responsible adults who will be able to impact their homes, families and communities in the future.

In seeking to facilitate ‘effective community development through self help’, we aim to implement self-help projects and sustainable development programmes to improve the quality of people’s lives mentally, materially, spiritually, socially and environmentally.

LoH also partners with the DTCC outreach team to provide a soup kitchen for the homeless (Tuesday at DTCC), as well as Prayer and outreach (Wednesday) and Healing Room (Friday) on Duncan Village.
